Whatever it is, it looks like more work than I want to do, but looks great.

Deks Olje 1 & 2?

I see where somebody once had a Danforth anchor on the cabin top.
And the door is w/o attention for some time.
Looks thick like an oil based varnish.

Good eye on the anchor brackets Eric. Yes the door does need the same treatment:eek:, and will get it soon enough I think.

But no, not that and not Deks Olye. Good try's though.:D

It's DONE is what it is. Fall has hit hard and fast here in the PNW, I've lost hope of getting much more done outside this year. I've seen at multiple days of predicted over 1/2" of rain here in Mount Vernon in the past week, and my weather station has recorded 5.23" in the last 10 days or so!

Varnish over stain.

It looks very slippery.

Well this post has clearly stated it dosn’t matter what you put on it all looks the same. About the only thing that has’nt been guessed is Tonkin .. the Russian Tung oil.

The only really clear think about the finish is that it was put on w little or no prep.

Water. It just rained.

Bristol Finish?

Thought I had posted earlier a hint, guess I didn't hit the post button!

Not water, LOL.
Hint; Name starts with letter G and is a two part system. That should do it.

Nope Here is another hint. We had a very heavy dew last night and the remaining water made white spots until it dried out, the cure was not complete. It is now.
