Greetings,

IRENE has a Diamond Sea Glaze sliding door between the cockpit and the sky lounge (OK, cabin). The door has been great and it is operable. It needs some maintenance, though, as it has released a nut here and a rivit there during the last two seasons. Specifically, I would like to employ someone that knows these doors to take mine apart, clean and lubricate, and reassemble completely. We met some folks on another Skagit Orca who had a catastrophic failure of the door, and I want to get ahead of that.

Can anyone please point me in the right direction? I will take the boat to the right person. I have not called DSG directly, yet.

Thank you,

Jeff

Jeff,

During our trip this year we had to find a replacement lock for our rear door and we got it from DSG in Vancouver. They were extremely helpful and knew to ask the right questions to make sure we got the right lock. I would contact them ask ask for a recommendation. They sell the stuff, I'm sure they could recommend an outfit to help you out.

BTW, there parts ain't cheap, but they are very nice!

Cheers
