Stop The Fight And Enjoy A New Idea

Fought the blue boot strip on my sailboat and now I was fighting the strip on my Nordic Tug. My neighbor just bought a 53' Cruiser and guess what? No strip. Just bottom paint where the strip would be.
Here in Florida the boot strip looks cloudy only six weeks after compounding and waxing. Plus the pain in the #*! Just to reach it.
I am loving the new look.

A while back the coasties would come aboard any boat that had a "wide" water line and do a toss looking for drugs.

Our solution was to paint to the top of the boot stripe , and then install ia boot stripe again but higher.

With full water 200G or 200G of diesel a 28 ft LWL does change.

Problem solved , no cost but some masking tape.
