Clear polyurethane drip removal

I have a few drips of Honey Teak Clear on my gelcoat from last re-coat. I'm not aware of any remover that would get rid of it chemically, so I guess I have to scrape it off. Of course I don't want to scratch the gelcoat. Anybody have any tips or tricks to accomplish this?

I have had the same problem with varnish. I usually scrape with a newly sharpened scraper and folw with a rub of fine cut polish. So far that has worked well for me.

RE: Clear polyurethane drip removal

We use (carfully) a new, single-edge razor blade to remove Bristol or varnish drips from the gelcoat. However, our 36-year old boat does not have concours-condition gelcoat after some 25 years in the California sun, so we're not very anal about little scratches we might put on.
