Raritan Atlantes self draining

I recently replumbed our fresh water Raritan Atlantes head’s sanitation line. We never flush directly overboard, always to the holding tank. So, I removed the line from the head to the three-way valve, the vented loop line and the line from the three-way to the holding tank.

Now the head discharges directly to the holding tank. This greatly reduced the amount of sanitation line. Great! - until...

Now the water in the head gradually drains out of the basin, running the basin dry. No bueno!

I assume this is because the head doesn’t discharge uphill now. It’s all downhill to the tank.

Any suggestions?

My forward Sea Era has done this from the day I put it in, as did the PHEII it replaced. Mine is also a downhill run to the tank with no uphill run after the toilet. I've never considered it a problem though.

The problem is that excrement sticks to the side of the bowl when it doesn’t have a pool to dive into.
