Power cord/ water supply hangers

This is an idea I thought of recently to have a quicker/ more efficient way to remove the power cords and water line. Possibly it. Could apply to some other forum members boats. The goal being to "disconnect" quickly from the slip and get underway. The 1/4" aluminum rod is readily available at HD and hardware stores. I used a tubing bender- then a tubing cutter to cut off the finished product.

THATS the idea I was looking for! My old tub wouldn't suffer so much but it does need some protection. I thought about vacuum hose but sliding on would beca pain and you would probably get black scuff marks anyway-

Or heat shrink tubing....

What a great idea. With the tubing bender, you can customize the boat side of hanger to the size of your cap rail or what it will hang on.

Perhaps tool handle dip would work better / longer than electrical tape? That plastic dip makes a heavy coating fairly easily.

Perhaps fabricate from all-thread, so they can be bolted to something easily? Is there a "lag-bolt thread" (?) equivalent to all-thread?
