Mainship 400 Antifoulilng paint

Hi

New to forum. Bought a 2008 Mainship 400 last September. Previously I had a sailbot and I would apply antifouling paint each spring. should I do the same with the trawler? And what are people using for bottom paint on their trawlers? I previously used VC 17 for sailboat. I boat in the Great Lakes.

Welcome aboard. We used VC-17 in a previous boat on Lake Huron. No complaints.

Would recommend a paint you can haul & store and relaunch without time constraints. That allows.multi seasons w/o repainting every year. I only touch up bare / thin spots most years.

Interlux Micron CSC is what I've used in FW and pleased with it but there are many equally as good out there.
