Gig Harbor Washington area Mechanical Surveyor Recommendation

[FONT=verdana,helv,arial,san-serif]I'm looking at a 1985 PT 42 in Gig Harbor Washington later this week. Can you recommend a mechanic in the area for a mechanical survey. The engines are
Ford Lehman Engine Model: SP225. I'm from Vancouver Island so am not familiar with anyone in that area.

At this point, I would call Gig Harbor Marina and Boatyard. https://gigharbormarina.com

I have used them for some things in the past and have had a number of folks recommend them for engine work on mechanical engines. At the very least, they could give you a good recommendation.

I'm also from VI and went through a boat purchase in Gig Harbor in January. I used Chuck and Carol at Nor-Pac Marine Surveyors (360.239.2048) and was very happy with their work. Just a note of caution - you may have trouble finding someone on such short notice.
