I got a free boat wash from the guys compounding the boat next to mine last year. Slung compound all over mine!

I don't know if the 3M stuff is any better than the Meguiars, but I did say it took a lot of effort.* 3 steps - Deoxidize, polish then wax.

If I can find a good pic of my old sailboat with a very shiny hull I'll post it later.
