Mr. k. Oil change (engine and injection pump), filter change, "burp" exhaust manifold, check: belts, hose clamps, zincs, hoses, anti-freeze (level and strength) , open seacock and let 'er rip.
You can also, if you wish, change fuel filters and water pump impeller.

I do my oil change in the fall when it's hauled out.
In the spring I check to make sure nothing is leaking, then I turn the key with the stop button depressed until the pressure gage starts to move.
Then I release the stop button.
I check to make sure she's pumping water, then kick her up to about 800 rpm and let the "cobwebs" burn off.

For those that read this thread in the future. This is a great intro to Ford Lehman oil changes. In addition to following this blog....I use a plastic dust pan with a channel down the handle to drain my injector pump oil into a cup. No mess.
