The do look very nice. I think they started out as bronze or stainless but now have a nice electroplated coating of aluminum on them.

Well I left the yard before I got any firm info on this. I did question the guy about how they were planning on selling the boat, "won't be selling it as new right?". All I got was a sheepish grin and raised eyebrows as my answer which I took as "new".
