I’m trying to locate a supplier of bronze rubrail 1 1/4”. I left a 5’ section at the bottom of lock 24 on the Erie Canal last summer. I can fine stainless and brass but not bronze.

Look for "half oval bronze". I think you're going to have to settle for brass.

You might try McMaster-Carr, I have found a lot of material there that I can't find anywhere else
 
IF anyone can use 1 inch heavy duty rub rail I have a 10 ft piece that is new ,

no holes drilled so you can match existing mounting pattern..
