Washing machine that needs no electricity

Boat application? Hmm? Why would this be better than just hand washing one's unmentionables in the sink?

Was expecting to see a woman doing laundry at a wash tub.

That's what my great-grandmother (lived to be 104) still used in the 1960s on her farm near Iowa Falls. She also had a hand-cranked "squeezer" over another bucket to rinse the clothes. Memories ...

The simple solution is to put the dirty stuff in a canvas bag with soap and drag it astern for a few hours.

It still will need a FW rinse after its cleaned.

This is how it was done for hundreds of years on sail ships , the FW rinse being a rain shower.

We use "wonder wash" when cruising. It works great and didn't break the bank.

I have an electricity free washer, but she runs on quality red wine, which is more expensive than electricity.

"The latest estimated delivery time is July 2016. Currently we are only accepting pre-orders within Canada and the US."
I am always suspect of these pre-order deals.
