Refrigerator condensation issue

We have a older circa 2001 Nova Kool RFU8000. Over all it is been working great. We have had only one issue that comes and goes depending on how humid it is.* This unit does not have a condensation drain tray or collection tray, So the condensation on the cools melts and drips down the back and out the bottom front strb corner, the easy fix was a little plastic container to catch it, but not a great one as when the dog plays with it we get a mess, or in rougher crossings.

Anyone else have a similar issue? Has anyone made a condensation drain and run a small hose down to the bilge (thinking of doing this)
