Place to buy Generator

Shintullah generator was removed, previously she had a Onan 20Kw. I’m leaning towards a rebuilt but will look at new to comparer prices. Can anyone recommend locations to start looking?

That was my plan... my first google search came up with too many sites to choose from... I was more looking for someone that could recommend a site or more importantly recommend who to stay away form.

Where do you keep the boat? Maybe nearby marina staff may know of someone selling one. Check with some of the mechanics doing marine work they may be able to give you some leads. Cummins/onan dealers also.
Good luck!

Also keep an eye on craig's list if you feel confident checking out the unit in person yourself. You could take along a knowledgeable friend to back your findings.

Look for an engine that is 1800m RPM and they still sell parts for.

Look for a US made generator head with copper windings.
