Need help locating faucet washers

I have a shower faucet washer that needs replacing. However I can't yet find this type. Installed as oem on my 1983 Albin.
The washer is actually a cup with a metal cap inside that presses against a flat metal surface on the inside of the fixture.

Any ideas?

Jay...feel for ya buddy.

I searched for 2 years and finally just put in another shower mixer.

But the first 2 years I did find some washers that with modification did work.

Thought long and hard out of the box, studied what was pressing what and came up with these. Cant remember how much modification...but after a year of rounding up 2 and modifying...went new fixture to save my last brain cell.

OEM on left, newer replacement on right. Don't have the packaging anymore so go to a great plumbing place and actually look at some of the newer selection of washers rather than old...that's where I found these.

If you can see the bottom of those caps, they are Chinese characters. I just purchased an RV faucet for $35 which require new holes to be drilled and put chrome caps over the old ones. Took 20 minutes and now no leaks. The shower wand fit the new unit.

ASk an old local plumber where the oldest plumbing supply house is and go there.

If you will replace it ONLY purchase a ceramic seat unit.

You are awesome!

Thanks all for the suggestions.
I found something that "may" work at my local ACE hardware.
If nothing else works I guess I'll end up doing a replacement.

You beat me to it Rocky. I was the original poster on the Sundowner Forum and nearly wet my pants when I finally found these little babies. ONE NOTE: make sure that you save the little metal discs from the bottom of the old washers as they are not supplied with the new ones. From yet another Sundowner owner...
