Taking the Plunge

Watched a new family move in today. 3 rather large adults and a teenager on a rather short boat. Live aboards.

After docking they proceeded to bring stuff from the car. After a parade of trips, 2 nearly full grown Palm trees, 2 ferrets in a cage and a samari sword I went inside and made another drink. I was worn out. God bless 'em.

Gee-of all the self-defense threads that have percolated through TF, i.e. guns, knives, shotguns, flare guns, dogs, electricity, alarms, etc, no one has ever brought up using ferrets and a samurai sword against intruders. Maybe time for a new thread?

THD, the ferret thread would be just like an anchor thread. Your ferret is too small,it's the wrong color and the leash is too short.

Beware of ferrets on leashes.

(Contains explicit language!)

Maybe the ferrets and sword are for the BBQ?

Greetings,
Isn't it recommended to install ferrets where wires/hosing pass through bulkheads to prevent chaffing?

Angus, that proves their effectiveness as a guard animal.

Raises the old question, is the ferret mightier than the sword. Or was that the pen?
Ferrets could be handy "ferreting out" items LOB (lost onboard).
All we need is RTF posting the Monty Python (?) song "I have got a ferret sticking up my nose".

Greetings,
As requested BUT it is NOT a Monty Python song or I would have posted it already. Just for that you'll have to cut and paste it yourself...

Didn't work. Moving right along...
Use your cursor on THIS one. You deserve it. Oh, and re-read post # 449. I think y'all are some confused...

Eel slap!

Taking the Plunge

Big party on Ten Knots last night. Sometime during the night we decided to string together this death trap of tiki lights. Not sure why. Maybe it was so we could have more light to play pie face.Click image for larger version

It was a lot of fun. And we did play pie face. If u have not seen the game YouTube or Google it.

The next morning there was sticky whip cream from one end of this boat to the other! The Grand Kids loved it.

My wife and I had to leave the boat to go work our little business today. All I could think about was getting done and getting back to the boat. Lord! Talk about a fish out of water; that's me!

If I am sitting for more than 30 min and don't have to wipe the salt spray off my glasses, something is wrong!

Ah yes...the dreaded drying out.
