Tuesday morning under the Bay Bridge, immediately west of Yerba Buena Island (photo a bit over-exposed). Visibility was mostly 1-2 miles. But sunny and bright by the time we reached Vallejo.

It's not so bad if you stay at the dock.

Shingled my shed yesterday in the fog and when I looked out this morning to get a good idea what kind of job I did, all the shingles were on the ground. Now that is thick fog yesterday.

Now I know why we don't have a "Beautiful Fog Pictures" thread!

Here are some of mine from last week.

San Francisco under the San Rafael Bridge through the fog

Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz

Is that what I think it is?

We pass directly under the Bay Bridge

The fog burns off Tiburon

The fog lifting in Ayala Cove, Angel Island with Giggitoni's Mahalo Moi

Morning view out the windshield at Angel Island - San Rafael Bridge

I really hate having to live like this in retirement, but somebody's got to do it.

It's the Colombian Navy training ship (bark) Gloria. It has since docked at San Francisco. It is open to tour for the next several days. Notice the large pilothouse.
