Worthy Tug project at auction in WA

I apologize if I am posting this in the wrong forum, but I figured since it is not my boat for sale and it would be of general interest, I posted here. I have no affiliation with the boat, owner, or sales method. I know that there are readers of this forum that are looking for worthy projects. This one is seaworthy and ready to go. She looks like a very well maintained 60-70ft government owned tug. It is being auctioned off by Washington State. The starting bid of $25k seems realistic and it is very well equipped with good specs. Have at it!

I respectfully disagree! Tugs make horrible yacht conversions. The attributes that makes them good for towing, make them horrible yachts. Deep draft, huge engine rooms, large gear reductions (6:1) usually. Thirsty for fuel and not very seaworthy at sea. This is clearly a small harbor tug, not designed for ocean service at all.
It isn't even suitable for commercial service because of new sub chapter M requirements. Everybody loves the business like air of tugs, but the reality?..... I'll pass
