Thanks Menzies, I was stationed at Mayport Naval Station, shortest sea details on the East coast. My favorite fishing spot for Red Bass was between the Coast Guard Station and the ICW, always caught my limit there back in the good old days when you could catch as many as you wanted to take home or until you ran out of live shrimp.

St. John's is one of those areas that we've been in and out but never spent much time. We were always on the way somewhere else. In looking ahead we realize how much there is to explore. We've never been past the Buckman Bridge. Have to make a point of spending more time there. Thanks for your post reminding us.
