Is that 5/16ths chain?

I believe so. We bought the chain new when the boat still had its original no-name windlass and I seem to recall that's what was stamped on the wildcat. When we ordered the Lofrans we specified the same chain size for its wildcat.

You're correct. I didn't recognize the clutch wheel for what it is. Thanks.

The Falkon looks to be 1500 watts, the Tigres is 1000. My Tigres is plenty strong. 1/2 that again will do a much heavier ground tackle than my 45# CQR on 210' of chain.

Yup, Lofran Falkon. It appears to be the Australian version.
