Who Has The Oldest Boat On The Forum?

I know I am nowhere close with my '89.

I see from the avatars that we have some oldies but goodies on here.

So what year was your boat first built? Let's see who has the oldest still operating vessel!

My new boat was built in the winter of 72/73. My old boat (in my avatar pic) was built in 1936.

While I don't own it (and really wouldn't want to) there is a tug boat for sale in our marina named Elmore that was built in 1890! So if somebody REALLY wants to be the owner of the oldest boat on this forum, here's the listing:

Riva calls ours the "conceptual heir". Guess that doesn't count. As an aside, the Riva boatyard was established in 1842. So, we don't have the oldest boat or even close to it, but might have come from the oldest shipyard of any here.

I've been renting a '63 Willard for the summer. She's not mine, but I've grown mighty fond of her and treat her like my own.

I'm not on it now, but I used to be the Chief Engineer on a 147' built in '06 with riveted steel hull. Great history, used in both wars before being converted to a yacht.

Later I worked on a 110' built in '28, very classic look with lots of wood, SS, almost plumb bow and big fantail stern.
