The cost of living in FL is very different thank CA. You need to be the CEO of a Fortune 500 to live on the water with a dock around here.

The goal is to wander a year or so, then set the next goal. It may by then be to wander another year or so. It may be a town you stopped at in wandering seems like the perfect place to call home. It may be that you have no more desire to boat, want to go RV. Nothing wrong for now though in just waiting.
