This trawler has been sitting for years in the same spot and never seems to move.

Before I go and check it out to see if it has any potential would any of you know what kind it is?

I have gone through a few of my sources but come up short.

Thanks,

I am pretty sure this is a Gulfstar 36. *

Solid old boats, from what I have heard, and can be had pretty cheap.*

Trader,
I think the larger Gulfstar (43'?)may be the same boat with an extended stern as the propellers, rudders and keel end 1/4 of the way fwd of the transom. This could be an advantage in beam winds as the bow would be less likely to be blown downwind.
