Were leaving tomorow for home!

Were currently docked at Sailfish Marina, tomorrow morning were heading to Fort Lauderdale, our home. We saw Buckey, and O.c Diver's Cherubini, both beautiful boats, wish I could got a pick.

Maryland, my Maryland. Ah how I miss the seasons. I also missed Oliver when he went by, but I can assure you that Miss Cotton is toasty warm even if you're not. The lake dumps also stopped and the water is a lot cleaner than when you were here, so there might be a lot less of a beard to clean when you finally get back down. All is well in the Marina.

Sorry, Oliver, you're in the wrong part of the country (from my point of view.)

St. Lucie inlet can be interesting. We almost ran aground departing to sea because one of the markers was not positioned properly. This right after they dredged.
On the return we followed a commercial fisherman and he enlighten us about the mis-placed marker - stay 50 yards north.

Well were home, but not without a hitch.

So we are about 1 NM North of Port Everglades, we were steaming toward the port. Then we loose RPM's so i shut down both generator and main , then i immediately run down to the ER, to find the day tank was empty. Side note- before we left we took on 500 Gallons, one tank had about 100 Gallons more, which caused a list to port, we have two tanks a PORT and STARBOARD- they both feed into the day tank by gravity. So anyways i shut the valve coming from the STB tanks so i could loose the list. So now fast forward when i ran down to the ER i immediately turned the STB tank valve on, the day tank started filling THANK GOD! So there's something wrong between the PORT tank and day tank. We have not trouble shooted yet, as we are tired- the Seas were 2-5 Ft, but they were confused which made for a lot of pitching. Needless to say it was a rough trip were tired, i didn't barf but my dad did like ten times- the pitching motion wasn't for people with a week stomach. But overall were very happy, tommorow were heading to Worst Marine and you guessed it but a crapload of stuff.

BTW- the video doesn't do any justice or scale of how precariously bad the seas were.

Well thats all for today folks.
