Our tank can hold 600 gallons but machines like to run so we run ours daily when cruising. My wife especially loves it when we can get the Tds below 50 in brackish waters so we tend to top off if that option is available. We also added a UV sterilizer because funky things can grow in lines and tanks in the tropics when chlorine is absent. This brings up another membrane hazard to watch out for in harbors and anchorages. Fishing boats and other yachts doing laundry or cleaning decks with chlorine additives.
