Life is truly wonderful. It's what I've wanted for two years now, and this time, well, my dreams have come true. I am blessed. And for those with advice (all considered and mostly taken) the box is gone leaving the pipe as my riser, a new/used heat exchanger from a Kubota generator is installed, a new expansion tank built by my mechanic is on the bulkhead, oil pressure gauge works, temperature gauge works, volts meter works

Tach doesn't. That's okay as once I'm used to her I'll know the RPMs just by the sound. It's not rocket science.

Still to do: plumb the fuel return line into the tank.
She runs though boys and girls. She is sweet -- all I ever dreamed of. I am so fortunate and excited for what the new year will bring to me and Seaweed.

Life is good afloat.
That is fantastic, I am very happy for you!

Nothing boating, unless one counts an ammo box. Oh, wait a minute. I received a swivel chair on wheels for additional seating in the saloon. It has yet to be assembled.

Well that should be a sporty ride in the swells! Might need bumpers, knee pads, a helmet and a seat belt. Ride the Coot Luge!

I say, "go with the flow." Should be excellent for the host/hostess bringing out goodies and IPAs from the galley, remaining seated, to the guests.

Dh and Janice, congrats on the good news!
We bought ourselves a new water maker, same one that Kevin installed a few months ago, now to just finish this project and on to the next. April will be here real quick, and then we're off up north for 7-8 months.
Happy New Years everyone!

Thanks for sharing my intense happiness. If any of you have extra $$ on hand, I suggest you purchase Crest toothpaste stock. And sunglasses from the sun shining off my pearly whites!

The fuel return line has to be plumbed back to the tank but otherwise it looks like we're good to go. Skipper and I shall be puttering around the area until February, then points south.

Kidlet is flying into Tampa in January and again in February for some sort of banking school. She works Fraud Prevention and it's some sort of certification program Navy Federal is providing.

And I'll get to see her. Yeah. Life is so wonderful, and my boat is the best. I cannot stop smiling and know there are a lot of people to thank for my blessings. I wish each of you happiness too.

Too bad you are on the Left coast.

I have the polished SS hoisting bar and all the attach hardware from a Super Yacht that might work to crane it aboard.

My present to me is a 22 x 22 building to store "stuff".

Haha. One of my pet peeves is what immigrants to FL do to their garages. Most of them are packed top to bottom with boxes and bins that prolly came from the basement in their up north gig. Cars never make it in the garage. No room for them.

Sounds like your admiral said enough is enough.
