The view from my Saloon this morning

Not the view from the Pilothouse, but from the Saloon.

Looking west from our home dock towards the Britannia Shipyards, Steveston.

What's that stuff on the roof? Pretty sure we don't have it in Florida.

Iím prettyís sure itís galvanized corrugated metal roofing:

Says itís ideal for wind and rain, but perhaps not hurricane force!

Geez Ray, you are up to your armpits in birds! We have hummingbirds and it makes me happy to kill the wasps that chase the h'birds off the feeder. Good for my backhand as I use an electric tennis raquet. Rare technology with no unintended consequences (except for the wasps!).

My saloon doesn't allow cameras.

Oh, I thought the picture was the first snow or ice of the season on the roof.
