Recently purchased a 36 Albin trawler. I need advice on rigging the mast sail. Can anyone forward a diagram etc Please. Tks, Chip

I would suggest that you sign up and look at the Albin Forum. It is active. A friend is on there with the 36 and maybe there are enough photos to figure it out.

Wait a minute, sail. I've seen many of these things and never a one had a sail. Steady sail? That's about all it would be good for. Those masts are more decorative or suitable for holding a radar or lifting the dingbat.

Anyway I suspect your best best is the Albin forum - it's free.

unless it's factory...who knows how the PO rigged it???????

Need pics of the 3 corners of the sail, mast head (or where the lines that hold the boom up attack), tack end (where the boom meets the mast) and the clew end (outer end of the boom).

Chip, saw your question in the Albin group. Never rigged mine, it's waaaay too weak. Also never saw another rigged.
