Hello,

*

I am new to the trawler line and am looking at purchasing a Trans Pacific Marine Eagle 32 Trawler. Just wondering if it is possible for it to be towed with some type of boat trailer and if so what would be the best trailer?

Thanks,

T

Weather it can be towed , by an owner or a commercial co is a question of size and weight.

Beam is the first consideration 8 ft 6 in is no permits , but this boat is 32 so probably not built sleek enough to qualify.

10ft some times ,,12 ft usually requires an oversize load permit for each state you wish to transit.

In looser FL many folks will drag home a 10+wide boat , but its best done in the county where you vote for sheriff.

The trailer will have 3 or 4 axles depending on the weight , and the tow hitch must be rated hight than the trailer loaded weight.

The boat sitting on the trailer must be under 13 ft 6 inches , to not rip down electric , phone lines , and go under bridges.

Width, weight* and height? My guess is the trailer and tow vehicle would cost 2X (or more) the boat
