Question Water system problems

We are the proud owners of a Thompson 44 made in 1977. My mechanic is looking for any specs or blueprints regarding the water system. Our tank shows the tank register 400 gallons, the pump is operating, but the is no water pressure either in the galley or the salon. But, we seem to be loosing water some way. Any suggestions or direction would be greatly appreciated.

Pump operating???????? Maybe not. May be just running. Pull the output hose off and find out if water truly comes out.
Is the pump priming?
Are the tank outlet valves open.?

You might also pull the pump intake hose and pour some water in to get a prime started. It should prime on it's own but if that helps then the pump may need a seals kit.
