Does anyone have recommendations for a captain in the San Diego area that could help us learn on our new to us N46? The wife and I are fairly green and need some education.

Thanks

I don't personally know a captain is San Diego but you might reach out via an email to Jeff Merrill (former Nordhavn salesman) with Jeff Merrill Yacht Sales (http://jmys.com) to see if he knows anyone who can assist you. Jeff has an extensive data base of people and this is why I'm suggesting you try to get in touch with him.

Hi, saw my name mentioned and wanted to recommend that you contact Captain Nikolay Alexandrov. San Diego Captains. He and his twin brother Assen are both very skilled captains in high demand, but if you can book them you will not be disappointed. Good luck!

A 46ft Nordhaven for your first boat? Mine was two steel barrels cut open & bolted together 60 odd years ago. Nothing like getting 2ft-itis and quality issues out of the way up front. Your missing all the fun :)

I would contact Jeff Merrill who worked at PAE for many years and recently went on his own. He is very well respected in the industry and lives in Southern California. He is busy since many people reach out to him to find and sell boats but if you can schedule a few days with him it will be worth the effort.
