Steel Trawler on Bainbridge

We're spending a month at Winslow on Bainbridge Island where I spotted this boat. Aside from a somewhat undersized anchor, it seems quite robust:

Looks like a Kasten design. I'll bet it is not steel, but aluminum.

Hmm - pretty sure the hull is steel (and the house aluminum) - I'll try a magnet and report back!

Right it seems, this version might be called Nidaros and is aluminum, 38' by 12'

Stunning boat with great lines but probably at the expense of a sailboat-like (cave) saloon, where you have to stand up to look out the window. But less windage and makes the pilothouse appear raised.
