Signature

Just from car forums, people would always put there current cars in their signatures and some would put their previously owned cars. I think it is interesting to see what people have "gone through" and it gives you an idea of the kind of experience they have. Anyway, just thought I would give it a try. I did not include my sailboats!

LOL- My list of "owns" would be very short.
Most everything I operate or have operated since I was a kid, either belonged Uncle Sam's Confused Group, or some other State/Local agency.

Soon, though...very soon

For now though, as a kid:

"Just an old plywood boat, 75 Johnson and an electric choke..."

...Thanks Dad...RIP

Looks great guys...the idea was to put it into your signature at the bottom of the page. But all good. I think it is really cool to see peoples' boats over their "career"....

Coming from years of "car sites", I kind of figured that's what you meant, but I just followed suit

Crap! I wish I could remember all of my Uncles hull numbers

I don't think I'll add mine to my regular signature, might make me feel pretentious…
Like…
1. Large leaky wooden box, good for two trips across farm dam before haul-out. Unstable, tipped out & trod on many eels.
2. Large doughnut shaped 7' inflatable, essentially a Euclid inner tube encased in canvass. Merc 4hp. Worked ok powered, went round in circles rowed.
3. Tasman 20' Trailer yacht, Merc 4hp, same motor as above.
4. Gazelle 26' Trailer Yacht, Mariner 8hp. Manufacturers own/demo boat. Beautiful.
5. Resort 35' Diesel cruiser BMW 55hp
6. Clipper (CHB) 34' Diesel Cruiser, FL120hp

Too wordy - bad I idea John, let's leave it to the car guys.

I agree, leave it to the car guys for the signature but it's neat to see the 2' fever progression.
1. 12' Aluminum 5HP
2. 14' Aluminum 25HP, ran into the ground
3. 25' Trojan 318 Chrysler, sold
4. Another 14' Lund 30HP, sold
5. 17' Daysailor, sold
6. 23' Paceship 6HP, sold
7. 13' Whaler 40HP , still a "daily driver"
8. 26' Inlandseas converted to center console with a 44HP diesel, sold
9. 40' MT Europa, 120 Lehman, current love
