Sacrificial anodes while doing the Great Loop

So what do other loopers do for sacrificial anodes while in the process of doing the Great Loop? Boat is normally in salt/ brackish water at home port (Ft Lauderdale). Now in the Great Lakes, and soon to be in the river system to go south to Mobile Bay.

Magnesium is the best choice for freshwater, but tough to find in all sizes.
Second is aluminum, which is what I used when looping last year. Will stay with aluminum as my cruising varies from salt to brackish to fresh.

We used and would use Aluminum. We would only use Magnesium if we were going to remain in fresh water. Aluminum is fine in fresh or salt. For all applications, fresh, salt or brackish, aluminum is either the first or second choice. Magnesium and Zinc are good for only fresh or only salt but then in the opposite uses are not acceptable.
