Just caught this. It seems quite fortunate that it was a sailboat vice a powerboat the encountered this.

And here I am whining about algae blooms on the Gulf Coast.

Gonna be tough to buff out those scratches. Hopefully they closed all their sea suctions as soon as they headed in. There would be plenty of very fine pieces that would do a number on any impeller they encountered.
