Old ones can be removed, re-glazed, re-gasketed, anodized, plated, powder coated or painted.

I second these people.... I put 15 of their portlights on our boat recently, and they are very good.... Give them a call and speak with "Teri"....

Term: portlight (n) Definition: The heavy glass cover for a porthole that can be opened for air, or dogged shut when the seas are rough. See Also: deadlight

We installed a set of New Found Metal ports ourselves. If yours are an odd size, go up a little larger and cut out the holes. The install was painless, The Trawler Beach House: 15 Steps To New Ports On The Boat . Chuck

I can vouch for New Found Metals bronze portlights. Have used them on two projects. Their others are most likely good too.

Good used portlights on ebay sometimes

It's that thing on the other side of your boat from the starboard light.

Come on, Eric! Are you pulling our legs? They're used for docking at night but don't meet the regs for use underway.
