Friend has a P 4-203 and is confused about which is what and where regarding the raw and fresh water pumps. I'm a 125 miles away. Having trouble finding illustrations. Does anyone have one? A digital manual to take a screen shot from Thanks.

I don't think the 203 shares much at all with the 107/108. Just google the perkins 4.203 and lots of stuff comes up, including links to manuals.

The raw water pump is easy to identify. From the thru hull that feeds the R/W system, follow the hose up through the strainer then to the suction of the R/W pump. The discharge goes to the main heat exchanger. The other pump is obviously the coolant pump.

This works for every raw water cooled (as opposed to keel cooled) marine engine regardless of make, model, etc.

I thought the displacement was the only difference.... probably wrong.... again.
