Just painted in the engine room mostly the ceiling one of the hardest things I have done in thier with cleaning and then painting having to crawl and bend all Around but looks good now

Greetings,
Mr. Pp. Brush or spray and what did you use? Is your ER covered in those "holed" acoustic tiles?

I just finished painting our engine room a mix of spray , brush and roller. The long part was all the taping and covering but it looks good now. at least we can stand up in ours and get around all the corners etc.

After a year of moving everyday engine rooms tend to get a little dirty so now all looks good time to tackle all the bilges with a new coat of bilge paint.

Well done PP. I can appreciate the work required to do a good job. Like most things, its all in the preparation.

A neat trick for painting around many awkward fittings is to use aluminum foil instead of tape and paper . If you want a fine line add tape at the edges.

Just form the foil around any shape and it will stay in place
