We closed yesterday. Time to start paying slip fees again!

You're going to love this boat! The guest stateroom birth setup is the best! (MHO) We had the side by side births in the guest stateroom of our Ocean Alex 42 and they were big hit. I don't know why more builders don't do that.

Great looking ... sedan cruiser.

Wow, that's a nice boat!

Congrats! OK do you want to list her?

What's not to like about that!! Great looking fast trawler, Doug!! Love the layout.

With a windlass, a couple rod holders, and a bait table, you're ready to go fishing!!

Thanks guys, we are pretty happy.

We knew the Mainship 40 met all our needs and wants, we were really only worried about how it would perform at "higher" speeds. We wanted a boat that could comfortably run at 15 knots or more when we needed it to. We heard different things about its ability to do that. The sea trial sold us, it runs beautifully at 15 knots and 8 knots. We ran out of Sebastian Inlet (one of the nastiest inlets in Florida) on a day NOAA was calling 15 to 20 NNE with 3 to 5 nearshore and 6 to 8 in the stream. There were steep, short period, 6 footers at the mouth of the inlet. It did great, no pounding, controlled roll, plenty of power.

This one (we looked at a lot) got us because it was a one owner boat with only 200 hours. 164 on the genset. It was a favorable buying situation as well as the owner was hungry for a new boat. We got a very good deal, well, well below comps.

We need to add a few things, dinghy davits, wood flooring, a second freezer/fridge. But it has great electronics and electronic controls.

She looks great, congrats! We're hoping to head east in March maybe we'll see you out on the water

The boat is in Sebastian right now, we will likely leave it there until mid may, then cross to the Bahamas. Home in mid July.

I'll keep an eye out for you though.

Doug, we are in Ft. Pierce. We plan to be in the Abacos mid May. Maybe we will see you there.

Fantastic boat, Doug. We expect a new Avatar soon.
