As opposed to the one with the fish in his mouth?* Yeah, I'm the director of the project.* So I need to look the scruffiest and nastiest of all the crew members.* Otherwise they don't pay attention to me.* It takes a lot of work every morning to achieve this look.*
Normally I Iook like this.* I'm the one on the*left.* This was taken the other month*when we were shooting down on Boeing Field with one of the 747-8 Intercontinental flight test crews.* The program's chief pilot is the fellow*in the foreground right of center and his first officer that day*is the one next to him in the funny hat (he's quite a character--- keeps talking about wanting to barrel-roll the*747-8 like Tex Johnston did way back when with the Dash-80 707 prototype).* I grow the beard and do the hair thing just*for international trips.
