That's actually a relatively small building for 300 people (40k sf). I expected any new federal complex to be 90 billion square feet for three people.

The Coasties always get the short end of the stick. If you look at their coverage area, mission and strength levels, they do a fantastic job! They used to be a bastard child of the DOT. Now with the Dept of Homeland Security, they're a little better off, but not a lot. My hat's off to them. Ben

Unfortunately it's all too often internally, the senior officers keep up the mantra of doing more with less.

But I'm sure all Coasties appreciate those kind words...
