Name Reserved?
Saw "(Name Reserved)" after a boat's name that was listed on Yatchworld. Does this mean if you buy the boat , you have to or you can't change the name?

It means that the seller wishes to keep the name, so if you buy the boat you have too rename it.

But there are many cases of multiple boats with the same name. Can post-sale renaming of the boat be an enforceable condition of sale?

I'm no lawyer but would think that when written into a formal sale contract it should be. Enforceable conditions are what contracts are essentially.

Ok, thanks. I've always been better at naming my boats than the previous owners anyway.

It would have to be a hard headed or "non motivated" seller to insist on that. I'd make him pay fro the champagne, a bunch of it, for the renaming ceremony!

Seriously... he didn't know what he was doing with the boat anyway, How could he expect to name it properly?

Presuming one wants to keep the name, cross out the "name reserved" clause and then sign the contract.
