In order to avoid a serious thread drift in the San Juan visit thread, I am providing this link to a video of the workhorse of PNW travel. The Beaver and Kenmore Airlines are used by lots of boaters in the PNW and the Canadian coast to get back and forth during cruising season.

I also recommend the book about Kenmore, written by some guy that hangs out here. Quite a story.

For my wife and I the religious quality went away when a mechanic in Petersburg showed us many years ago how the tail of our Beaver is held on.
