Hi - and thanks in advnce for any help here.

1990 Marine Trader Trawler Aft Cabin;

I need to replace my black water holding tank & and need some info if it can be done while in the water or if the boat needs to be pulled out.

Reason being;

The tank is under the bow floor- with about 6" of it sticking-out into the bildge, where the hoses connect to it.

From what I see, it appears that it was built to slide out into the bildge, then out however in sliding it out that way it will only slide about 2 feet before being obstructed by a seacock and its handle- meaning of course the boat needs too be dry docked.

However- I am curious if that is the way to do it- OR is the other way, to remove the floor in the bow and take it out that way.

Thanks for any guidence.
