Marine surveyor and diesel surveyor recommendation

Hello, we are trawler owner wannabees and are currently looking a some potential boats to purchase. In anticipation, we are seeking any input that you experienced forum members may have as to qualified marine surveyors and diesel surveyor/mechanics located in the southern Chesapeake Bay area.
