Looking at a Defever 41

Hi folks,
I just finished bringing my sailboat back from Mexico (the infamous Baja Bash) and it is now for sale. One of the boats that I am interested in is a Defever 41. I know they have a good rep for build quality and that people tend to like them. Are there particular items that I should be concerned about or that warrant close inspection (fuel tanks, etc.)? Any tips or practical knowledge of this model would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers, Bill

We have enjoyed it a lot and feel they are a good choice. Moving to Montana and buying a land yatch.

Watch the CI fuel tanks and water tank if stainless, and look for soft decks. Just get a good surveyor to survey the vessel once you decide.

Sorry about that. I'll see if I can add pic here. It has most of its original teak including the deck.

It appears I can only add one photo. You can email us if you'd like to get more info. Andresen99550@yahoo.com
