Liferaft canister and cradle

I have a Zodiac liferaft in a soft valise which takes up a lot of interior storage space. I would like to place it into canister/cradle which I could deck mount.
Has anyone done this and if so where did you find a canister and cradle?

Most likely you will have to get it from the manufacturer or one of their dealers. Might want to try one of the larger repacking facilities for that manufacturer. They may have a used canister and cradle from a dead raft.

You want it as high as you can easily access it. The rule of thumb is to stay with the big boat as long as possible and step into the life raft. Big boats will often sink to a certain point and stay there indefinitely.

Get it out of the interior ASAP.
