The Baynes Sound ferry between Denman and Vancouver Island is supposedly the world's longest cable ferry in the world at just under 2 kilometers in length. And it has a number of newer items which are being trialed for BC Ferries. This ferry was commissioned in 2016 and will not be hauled out for much of it's servicing until 10 years later. Divers will be doing much of the smaller work yearly.
So the bottom paint listed above in the title is not going to be re-coated for 10 years. Is this realistic. From an article in Western Mariner - July 2016.
