I am told she's starting to bleed so not looking as good outside as the pics.
Inside should still be fine.
I reckon if you treated her like a steel workboat, not a superyacht and got someone like GT Mac to do their magic it'd still be good value.

Transworld Fantail 50
Allegedly, there were only 9 of these pilothouse fantails built. I was surprised to read it is just another Taiwanese Tub and like most TTs, it could use some TLC and maybe teak deck replacement. Still like the looks of the fantail.

Great looking boat. I am a bit surprise it is fiberglass.
I think teak must be cheap at the builder's yard.

Wow. I'd fall in love with that boat every time I approached it on the dock and my heart would break a little every time looking back at it as I walked away. Just like with Badger, only more so!

I feel you're only kidding... sorta...
Just imagine:
You're the one using the Time Shared boat when motor blows. Ins co somehow prorates blown motor replacement at only 50% actual cost for new installed one. Boat's Time Share partners look at you with raised brows and skiddy wallets. Things work out though. The next time you use boat the gen set seizes up. And/or this happens to another partner. Got the picture! Too many chances for unexpected/costly complications on a TS boat makes it not for me.
In RE they sometimes call it Fractional Ownership. In RE... expensive motors usually are not in the mix and therefore don't blow up!

Everyone will eventually be so safe with no need for working too much... that...governments can just send us a check every month so we can purchase the goods that autonomous robot filled mfg plants produce.
Heck... wars will be won and lost via autonomous fighting craft.
Don't get me wrong; It's not that I'm knocking the hi-tech evolution of things. Just marveling at global scale changes in society we are living through!

At 6kts you'd probaby double the range of that boat to 3000 miles. Assuming and engine speed of 1800rpm at 8.5kts. 1400-1600 rpm would bring her down to a more sedate speed of 6kts. That may put the fuel burn around the 2gph range. Dang it all to heck! Now I want to build a Sockeye and cruise the world. :lol:
